July 4th Car show - Capon Valley Ruritan - on Sunday, July 4th, registration from 9 am - 12 with judging immediately after noon. Trophies and dash plaques awarded, $10 registration fee. Along the scenic Capon River, just about 1/2 mile from the intersection of River Road and Rt. 259. One half hour southwest of Winchester, VA in a beautiful mountainous region in eastern Hampshire county. At noon there is a pig roast, chicken bbq, bluegrass music, an auction with donated items, crafts, homemade ice cream, horse shoe tournament, lots of things to do.
