More Than 300 Motorcycle Riders Will Roar Through New Jersey in the Third Annual Dignity Run
to Benefit People with Disabilities

WHAT: More than 300 motorcycle riders will roar through 60 miles of rural roads in Somerset and Hunterdon counties in the third annual Dignity Run to benefit people with disabilities.

WHO: Sponsored by Alternatives, Inc. in partnership with the Bridgewater Eagles Riding Club, Double Crossed Riding Club and the Central Jersey Old Timers. In addition, the event has the cooperation of all 23 member clubs of the American Motorcyclist Association.

Alternatives, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with special needs reach their highest level of independence and integration into the community by providing residential opportunities coupled with comprehensive support service.

WHERE: Eagles Aerie 2137 at 360 Woodside Lane, Bridgewater

WHEN: Sunday, October 15. Registration beings at 9 a.m.

“Alternatives is pleased to see support for the Dignity Run grow and we hope to see turnout double over last year,” said Nancy Good, president of Alternatives. “We are grateful for the generous support of riders, sponsors and guests who are unified in promoting ‘dignity through independence for people with disabilities.’”

Participants will enjoy complimentary food, beverages, a vendor alley, prizes and music by GoodWorks rock and soul band, 3 in 1 Entertainment and Gotham Industrial Rock band. Non-riders are also welcome at the Eagles Riders Club picnic grove.

In addition to the riding clubs, the Dignity Run is sponsored by RE/MAX Classic Group Somerville, Union Avenue Pharmacy, Clinton Honda, Meeker Sharkey & Hurley Insurance, George Sincox Architects, Rider Insurance and Applebee’s of Hillsborough.
