“Eli's Big Block Party: Car and Truck Extravaganza” will be held May 14 from 9:30 a.m.- 3p.m. at Lindsay Lane Baptist Church (1300 South Lindsay Lane, Athens, AL 35613). The event features a competition car show for cars and trucks, vendors for the whole family, kids activities, live music with Matt Prater and food. The event is free to attend, and those wanting to compete should register early at www.teamvictory4all.org for a discounted fee.
