City of Ward Annual Christmas Parade

The City of Ward will be hosting the Annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting on December 8, 2018. Line up time for the parade is 2:15 PM. The parade will line up along Front Street facing MARKHAM STREET. We will go up Markham Street from Front Street to HWY 367 (2nd Street) then left down past the Dollar General and up Hickory ending in front of the City Hall along Fourth Street.
Parade will begin at 3:00 PM. A tree lighting ceremony will follow at City Hall. The Grand Marshal, Eddie Joe Williams, will be presenting the top (3) three floats with trophies. Refreshments will be served.
We invite everyone to come out and enjoy an afternoon of fun and excitement with your community and maybe even bring home some cookies and a trophy. Admission is FREE!
Floats: If interested in putting a float or entering your vehicle in the parade, you can pick up an application at the Reception Office at City Hall. The entry fee is $5.00.
