Rustbucket Rebels Car Club

The Rustbucket Rebels Car Club was formed in the Summer of 2003, by a small group of automobile enthusiasts dedicated to encouraging interest in and the preservation of the automobile hobby. We use of car shows, cruise-ins and poker runs to raise funds for our "Cruisin for Christmas" program. We also hold seperate cruise-ins to collect food for the FAYETTE COUNTY FOOD PANTRY. Today, the RRCC continues to support all aspects of the automobile hobby. The RRCC is an "open club", and membership is open to anyone who has an interest in the automobile hobby. Meetings are held on an as needed basis, usually monthly, during the show season and then as important business arises during the off season. We discuss clubs business, and then discuss upcoming runs, car shows, and cruises that members will be participating in. A monthly newsletter is in the works and will soon be sent to each member as a reminder of the next meeting, and will bring the membership up to date on all club activities. The club hosts two major events each year. The SUMMER SIZZLE Car Show (which is technically in spring) takes place on the second Saturday of June. Our second event is Cars & Stars, which is held at the MEADOW BRIDGE DRIVE-IN. The event takes place on the first Saturday in August.
