Route 26 Cruisers

Our club was established in 1997 in the town of Sandy by a handful of car nuts... who wanted to use their hobby to have fun, serve the community and encourage young people in automotive programs. We’ve outgrown our original meeting place at Shorty’s Corner. Our 225+ members meet 7 PM the first Tuesday of each month, at the Clackamas County Bank in Sandy. We hit a local attraction or burger joint on monthly mini– cruises. High School kids are the future of our hobby! We partnered with PGE to provide two computer systems & printers to the Sandy HS automotive shop program. All year long we collect coats, food and holiday gifts for teens. Support and author automotive legislation. R26C’ers are members of the automotive lobbying groups SEMA and OCOVA. We foster a healthy rivalry between the Ford and Chevy guys…but most of all… we like to have FUN!!! Our Purpose To promote automotive safety. Increase participation, communication and cooperation among car enthusiasts. Project a positive image of car enthusiasts to the general public. Identify, research, formulate, publicize and promote R26C positions on issues of importance to its members. Have Fun, Fun, FUN!!
