Packards - North Texas

Packards - North Texas (P-NT) is a local Region of “Packard Automobile Classics. Inc." (PAC). You do not have to own a Packard to be a member of PAC or P-NT. National membership is required of all local club members as with most car clubs. Our local club meets on the 1st Saturday of each month. Due to the large size of the Metroplex we move our meetings to various locations in the extended DFW area. Members are encouraged to drive their Packard to each event if possible. We visit various transportation related museums and points of interest in the DFW area as well as conduct both one day and overnight driving events. P-NT participates annually in the "Texas Packard Meet" (TPM). The annual TPM is a joint meet of Lone Star Packards (Houston), Heart of Texas Packards (San Antonio), ArkLaTex Packards (Longview) and Packards-North Texas (DFW area). This Regional Meet is sanctioned by PAC and is conducted in Salado, Texas on the 1st non-Easter weekend in April of each year. The Salado Meet this year was the 44th Annual Regional Texas Packard Meet. The National Packard Club was founded in 1953 and is the oldest Packard Club dedicated to the advancement of the maintenance, preservation, authentic restoration and the use of Packard motor vehicles. The Packard Club also provides a source of and exchange of information on Packard motor vehicles through two nationally recognized publications, namely: The Cormorant Magazine and The Cormorant News Bulletin. The Packard Club provides for and regulates events, meets, tours and exhibitions pertaining to the Packard motor vehicle. Furthermore, The Packard Club supports continued research for helping members to perform authentic restoration of Packard motor vehicles and the detailing of the history of the Packard Motor Car Company. Current Membership: Just under 3,000 (and Growing!!!) Company Slogan: "ASK THE MAN (or woman) WHO OWNS ONE"
