Appalachian Golden Classics

The Appalachian Golden Classis started in 1989 as the Appalachian Golden Classic Chevy Club and was open to 55-57 Chevys only. It was later opened to all Chevys 25 years old and older. The club is now open to anybody who loves cars, particularly classic Detroit Muscle cars. We have put on a car & truck show every year since 1990 and the proceeds from this show and our other activities support three local charities, the Waynesboro Human Services, The Lunch Place and the Faith United Methodist Food Pantry. Throughout the year we assist other organizations by running their car shows or cruise-ins. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Union Hall on CV Avenue in Waynesboro, PA and are actively recruiting new members. Our members live in nearby towns in Pennsylvania and Maryland and car show participants also come from West Virginia and Virginia. We are known for putting on great shows and giving the nicest trophies.
