The Mustang Club of San Diego

The Mustang Club of San Diego was founded in the late 70’s for owners and fans of America’s premier “Pony” car. Current membership totals over 400 with cars from the original 64 1/2 model year to and including the most current “Retro Style” version. The club participates in many events including car shows, local cruise nights and community related activities. It also plays host to what may be the largest “single make” car show in San Diego County. Usually held the first Sunday of October it draws over 250 entries and thousands of fans. The objectives of the Mustang Club of San Diego are: 1. Stimulate the recognition, restoration and preservation of the Ford Mustang automobile . 2. Encourage fellowship among members by sponsoring recreational and social activitues. 3. Educate members in the maintenance and care of their Mustangs.
