The Central Iowa Auto Club started in 2005 by a few local guys looking to show off their classic cars. After a few small show and shines we decided to make it a club and from there the Central Iowa Auto Club was born. The first year we took on the 21st Annual Madison County Car Show in Winterset and what an experience that was! For the next several years we met a couple times a year when ever a few of us wanted to cruise. Then, it started on a more on a regular basis. In 2012 we incorporated, elected officers and now are having monthly meetings. The first Tuesday of every month we meet in one of our members garage, talk about what has happened since the last meeting and what we are going forward with. We try and put the money collected form our car shows back into the local community in the form of scholarships, thanksgiving family sponsors, and Christmas sponsors. Some of the cars are available for photo shoots for graduation pictures to weddings.
