The Middletown Pacemakers originated in 1951. The club and its members ran many different race cars. They were class champs at the NHRA Nationals on 63, 64 and 65 in A/Comp. The club disbanded in 1966. In 1994 some of the members got together and the club was reborn with a few of the original members and many new members. Members meet every Thursday for lunch at various locations. Members attend many different cruise-ins and racing events.
