Our Mission: The Highway 11 Cruisers C.C. mission is to actively support charities and organizations within our community. In the past we have donated funds to organizations such as: The SickKids Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York Region, Newmarket Minor Hockey, MS Society of Canada, Doane House Hospice, and many more. Who We Are: The Highway 11 Cruisers is a not-for-profit charitable organization that is run on a volunteer bases that: - Builds and maintains relationships amongst all of our members with communication and participation in club functions throughout the year. - Works with businesses within our community to organize and run our events. - We hold a weekly cruise night in Aurora from late May until early October annually. - We also hold a number of larger weekend shows throughout the show season. - During the winter we hold a number of club outings including dinners, bowling nights, Super Bowl Parties, and a New Years Eve Gala. Membership Requirements: With show season we wanted to take a moment to share our membership information with everyone: - No cost to join or dues: Unlike most other clubs, all we ask is that you to buy a club shirt and wear it to our events and if possible the other car events you go to and volunteer to help us run our events as you can. (We also do not charge either our members or guests to attend our cruise nights or larger shows) - All models & years welcome: We are a car club, and we welcome all classic, and modern specialty Car, Truck, & Bike owners to join our club. - We support Sick Kids Foundation: All proceeds from our merchandise sales including the sales of our members shirts plus all donations made at our events are given to Sick Kids. - Different Formats of Shows: On top of our weekly cruise night and our weekly mystery cruises we also hold a number of larger shows through out the year including the clubs participation in Mega Speed and our annual Burnout Contest Event. - We have off season events: With the Highway 11 Cruisers our club season does not end when the snow flys, we organize group events such a pool & bowling nights plus a number of other events.
