Dixie Vintage promotes interest in restoring and preserving antique, classic, and special interest cars, providing a social club for members and their families. The Club has cultivated a family oriented tradition, where spouses and other family members are encouraged to attend all Club functions, meetings, and car shows. Our family-friendly events have an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, appreciated, and are treated with respect. True to our founders vision, the club has always been community-oriented, supporting local charities and civic events. Dixie Vintage has hosted, or played a key role, in many fundraising events, donating the proceeds to various charities over the years. Currently, the Clubs primary charity is Travelers Aid of Greater Birmingham, which has helped many stranded travelers and others in distress, and provides thousands of medical transport trips to low income, elderly, and handicapped clients every year. Dixie Vintages signature event is the First and Third Saturday, Krispy Kreme Cruise-in, (8:00AM-12:00 Noon) which the Club has promoted and managed continuously, since 1999.
