Dixie Vintage is a non profit car club dedicated to the preservation and celebration of the automobile. Dixie Vintage was founded in 1958 and is the oldest car club in Alabama. The Club sponsors the Krispy Kreme Cruise-In which is held year round on Highway 31 in Hoover on the first Saturday of each month from 8AM until 12Noon. Dixie Vintage is now part of Helena First Friday! Our members and guests bring old cars as part of the entertainment. Please visit our website, www.dvaac.com, for details. Current membership in Dixie Vintage stands at 210 with most members living in the surrounding area of Birmingham and Hoover. We do have a few members further away in Mississippi and Hawaii.
