The Mid-Florida Mustang Club, "MFMC", was established in 1981 as a regional club of the Mustang Club of America. Ownership of a Ford or Mustang is not required, enthusiasm is! We welcome all Ford & Mustang enthusiasts! We have a special Young Owner's Club for members from the ages of 16-25 and will soon offer a Future Owner's Club for those 15 and younger. We are a family friendly club offering activities for enthusiasts of all ages. Members of the MFMC can be found primarily throughout the Central Florida - Greater Orlando area. With members in Oviedo, Winter Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Casselberry, Sanford, Deltona, Osteen, Debary, Deland, Leesburg, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Sorrento, Grand Island, Ocoee, Winter Haven, Clermont, Windermere, Kissimmee, Orlando, Fern Park, Tavares, Eustis, Maitland, and several other area communities. The MFMC sponsors mall shows, outdoor shows, car cruises around town, once-a-month general club meeting, picnics, a Holiday Party, and other car related activities. The shows provide an opportunity for you to show your Mustang and to see how others have restored, maintained, or enhanced their cars. MFMC members together offer a wealth of information about all years of Mustangs as well as showing, maintaining, enhancing, and restoring Mustangs. At the monthly meetings and cruise-ins you are able to meet other Mustang owners, Mustang enthusiasts, make new friends or reacquaint with old ones, and to share Mustang stories and ideas. Your ideas for activities are always welcome. You do not have to own a Mustang to belong to MFMC; you only need to be a Ford/Mustang enthusiast. The MFMC newsletter, The Horse's Mouth, is published by email bi-monthly for members. The newsletter contains a description of all club activities, classified ads of Mustangs and parts, articles about Mustangs and members, and information about future area and club activities. MFMC members also receive regular monthly and special event emails spotlighting area activities and opportunities. Members also have access to an online club forum. Each new membership will receive a MFMC certificate of membership, window sticker, and t-shirt. The MFMC annual dues are for family memberships (children up to 18) and are $20.00 for the calendar year. We encourage you to join the Mustang Club of America “MCA” (MCA annual dues are $40.00 per year), but MCA membership is not required. Applications are available at http://www.mustang.org/. If you are new to MCA we can accept the applications, otherwise they must be submitted directly to MCA. Our General Meeting is held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the IHOP on Lee Road in Orlando. Our Super Saturday Night Cruise-In is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 6:30-9:30pm at Bob Evans on 436 in Fern Park in front of Sam's Club. On the 3rd Saturday of each month from 6-9pm at the Bob Evans in Orange City on Saxton Blvd & I4 (Exit 111b). Check the website for other activities and information.
