Friendly OK Car Club

The general purpose of this Club, a non-profit organization, shall be to preserve and maintain motor vehicles of ancient age and historical value. The club will serve as an accurate and technical source of information concerning ancient, classical and special interest automobiles for the benefit of the members as well as the general public. Our goal is to unite in a central organization, owners of ancient, classical, historical and special interest automobiles who are interested in restoring and maintaining the automobiles in a manner to attract prestige and respect within the community. The club puts on an annual Swap Meet and Car Show always on Mothers the 2nd weekend in May The Club also participates in most of the other local car club events. We help out the needy. We help the nearby towns by showing our cars at their events, parades and community activities, etc. Our club meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and the board meets as needed. In the bad weather we have dinner meetings at a restaurants in Omak. We have great potluck dinner meetings, when the weather permits at near by parks. After the business is conducted, our members tell about their car projects, vacation stories, funny stories, etc. At the end of the meetings we have a coin drawing. The members each put in a quarter for each ticket they want (no limit) and the winner takes it all. We try to have a lot of fun. The club is open to anyone interested in older cars. With membership you get membership cards, a membership roster. You also get a newsletter each month. You can put ads in the newsletter. We have members all over Washington State, Idaho and Canada http://friendlyokcarclub.spaces.live.com/
