The Cruisin' Tigers were chartered in 1989. Our Club has won GTOAA Chapter of the year five times (1991, 1996, 1999, 2002 & 2007)! We have also been recognized nine times with Golden Quill Awards from Old Cars Weekly for our news letter, Tiger News. We have technical advisors for each GTO model year as well as specialty advisors (engine, transmission, paint and body, electrical, and mechanical). Our representation for the Pontiac-Oakland Club International (POCI) is as the GTO Non-Regional Specialty Club. We have approximately 260 members, which include Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick, Jim Wangers and others within the Pontiac family. Our membership family reaches well beyond the Chicagoland area. Club activities include our annual All-Pontiac Weekend - The Indian Uprising (with over 400 cars on a 13 acre grass field), local cruises, technical seminars, picnics, monthly meetings, a Christmas party and other events throughout the year.
