1970 Chevy short wide bed runs and drives. Has small block Chevy V8 with automatic transmission. Just in 8/17/19 Saturday. As soon as possible I will stage the truck with 15 Ralley wheels and nice tires...And as you know the rallies and a nice set of tires will really make the truck come to life...but the ralley/tire combo and any other tire/wheel combinations DO NOT come with the truck they are for staging purposes only. The 70 SWB will come with the tire/wheel/hub cap combination pictured and a few of the pictures. It appears to be original engine and transmission & the truck starts and runs okay....It wouldnt hurt to have plugs and wires, cap and rotor installed but I just got it in. It looks to be the original paint. It has a good cloth covered bench seat. The automatic transmission is column shifted. The side & back glasses are good but the windshield is hazy across the bottom & top ( roughly a couple of inches up & down) and it has a short 6 inch long crack coming down from the top in the very center. The rockers are rusty on both sides but the cab corners appear to be good. But there is quite a bit of underside cab rust in the braces. The pick up truck frame seems to be good and the underside of the truck has a lot of surface rust. It does have new soft brake line set friend and the brakes seem to work fine. The truck does not have a back bumper currently but if I find one reasonably price at a swap meet I will grab one.
Basically the truck has a really good solid/straight body on it other than the rust in the rockers which carries into the kick panel floor area.
More information will be added to this ad as I check the truck out throughout the coming days.
