Vibrant paint, an upgraded interior, proper V8 power, and four-wheel disc brakes all make this 1951 Ford F-1 a true classic with true custom cruiser distinction.
There was a solid investment in the yellow paint, and it makes this truck absolutely memorable from the first moment it comes into view. And the tight gaps mean the modern paint really rolls off all the classic curves beautifully. They even deleted the bumpers, color-matched the grille, and shaved the door handles for added sleekness. Plus, the large exhaust tips, and 17-inch wheel add to this pickup's custom and performance style. And as you look over every inch of this machine, you not only see great modern upgrades, but also a well-balanced sense of history. That's why there's still real wood on the truck bed, Ford step plates on the running boards, and the unmistakably vintage silhouette of Ford's first-ever generation of the F-Series truck.
Pop the remote door openers and it reveals an upgraded world of luxury. This starts with a tasteful two-tone brown on the modern bucket seats. The door panels, steering wheel, headliner, and carpeting were all done to coordinate. This is an upgraded truck with plenty of nice comfort upgrades. Some are subtle, like the upgraded gauges, power window switches, and a retro-style AM/FM stereo with USB and Bluetooth. Other additions are a bit more obvious, like the cup holder center console, shoulder seatbelts, and steering wheel on the tilt column. And in total, it all makes for a comfortable cruiser.
The inner walls of the engine bay are a smooth yellow, and that really draws your attention to the upgraded V8 in the middle. This 302 cubic-inch unit looks good with its bright air grabber, finned Edelbrock valve covers, and tidy setup. Plus, it has the right supporting component, like an aluminum radiator, HEI distributor, and the battery relocated to the bed for better weight distribution. The V8 fires up nicely as it makes a sweet rune from the dual exhaust. And to make sure the drive is effortless, you also have an upgraded independent front end, power steering, and a three-speed automatic transmission. There's even four-wheel power disc brakes for superior stopping power.
This is the classic truck upgraded to look and feel fantastic. Don't let this custom F-1 slip away, call today!
