DESCRIPTION
1985 AM General M1025 Humvee Few military vehicles are as instantly recognizable as the Humvee. Purpose-built for the U.S. military, its wide stance, unmistakable silhouette, and no-nonsense design have made it an icon both on and off the battlefield. Finished in classic tan military paint and equipped with a gunner’s turret, this 1985 AM General M1025 retains the rugged character that makes these vehicles so appealing to military collectors and enthusiasts.Power comes from the proven 6.2L Detroit Diesel V8 backed by a GM 3L80 automatic transmission. Its heavy-duty four-wheel-drive system, substantial ground clearance, and military-spec suspension were designed around capability rather than compromise, giving the M1025 the ability to tackle terrain that would stop an ordinary vehicle in its tracks.Everything about the Humvee feels purposeful. From its wide track and utilitarian interior to the turret-equipped roof and imposing road presence, the M1025 offers an experience unlike a conventional truck or SUV. It’s equally suited for a military vehicle collection, ranch use, shows, parades, or simply for the enthusiast who wants something genuinely different. For the collector who appreciates authentic military hardware, the appeal of an M1025 goes well beyond its appearance. Climb inside, bring the Detroit Diesel to life, and experience one of America’s most recognizable military vehicles from behind the wheel. This isn’t something that simply blends into a collection—it commands attention wherever it goes.
