53 Chevy 3100 235 4-speed

This is a 1953 Rootbeer brown Chevy. It has a 235 cid engine with an original 4-speed transmission. The truck has been converted to 12 volt and has electric wipers. The interior is brown velour. The odometer reads 5814 and works as do all gauges but the first digit on the odometer is cracked and cannot be read. All lights work and the brakes are in good condition. I bought the truck 4 years ago and it pretty much looks and drives as it did then. I used is as a daily driver and drove it to work about once a week. I replaced several engine components. The truck is very straight and has no rust that I can find (probably an original Colorado truck). The glass and chrome are in good to excellent condition. The paint is fair to good but a nice paint job would really make it standout. The wheels are rally wheels and in fair condition. The is a solid truck that someone has done a lot of work on but could be a "show car" with not a lot of extra work. It needs a horn and underneath spare carrier to be period specific.
