DESCRIPTION
Bold paint, big block V8 power, the 4x4 prowess, and an A/C interior headline this 1978 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4. And as you dig deeper, you're going to discover a ton of great features that all make this truck attract far beyond its value price.
It's hard not to immediately take notice of this truck. The yellow paint was a respray later in life, and so it remains looking vibrant today and gives a good shine. Nice chrome bumpers and full-length premium Silverado trim give this quite a nice look. But what really has you excited is this truck's capable appearance. There's a brush guard up front with trail lights and provisions for a winch. There's liner paint in the bed to handle messy chores, and whenever that's not enough space, you have a proper trailer hitch with 5 and 7 pin wiring plugs. There's even a trailer brakes and large trailering mirrors to go with this.
The yellow returns inside on the door tops and lower dash, and now it's joined by a distinct orang/tan for a very cool appearance. There are nice classic-style features, like the button-top velour seat; and there are also some cool upgrades, like the custom headliner with speakers embedded. The steering wheel is on a tilt column to give you a great view of the wraparound dash. Plus, there are ton of handy features, like a full off-road gauge pack, rifle rack, and an AM/FM stereo. The sliding rear window is there to give you old-school truck breezes, and whenever that's not enough, you've also got cold-blowing air conditioning that's running on modern R134a for easy servicing.
Under the hood is the 454 cubic-inch V8 big block. Not only do you have the kind of big displacement upgrade you want in a big truck, but also this has even more added power from an Edelbrock intake, four-barrel carburetor, and headers feeding the rumbling Flowmaster dual exhaust. The lifted stance and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As work the two-speed 4x4 transfer case to give you a go-anywhere kind of confidence. And the dual fuel tanks mean you can go farther, too. Add in power steering, power brakes w/front discs, the three-speed automatic transmission, and this beefy Silverado is also a fine anytime driver.
You're looking at a ton of distinction and ability for quite an obtainable price. Your new favorite 4x4 is ready now, but it won't wait for long. Call today!!!
