DESCRIPTION
This 1966 Ford F-100 has the classic two-tone of a cool vintage machine. But you can also tell the stance is showing off the sporty side that also comes with a well-built 390 V8 and four-on-the-floor. The interior even gives you a touch of old-school pickup style while offering modern amenities like A/C.
The first impression of the exterior is just a nice classic pickup. The trim tag even says this is wearing its factory-correct two-tone Rangoon Red and Wimbledon White. It was even updated later in life, where gloss let the sunlight show off the F-100\'s clean body creases and flared fenders. Nothing too fancy to take away from an honest truck feeling, but just an overall attractive vintage. The same goes for the bumpers and trim. It even feels like a proper functional pickup with bed rails, a diamond plate tailgate lip, and full liner paint in the bed. Of course, pieces like the polished dual exhaust tips and 15-inch American Racing wheels give it that hint of attitude that you\'ll see reinforced in the engine bay (more on that in a moment.)
The exterior two-tone theme continues inside. We like how this retains many stock, honest, and simple pieces like the bench seat, steel doors, and classic steering wheel. It helps give the right touch of farm truck vibe you want in a pickup. There are even little things like the working dome light. But this is great because it\'s also upgraded in the right places. Features like the AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth and cold-blowing air conditioning make this more comfortable. And the upgraded readouts with tach make for a better driver.
Under the hood is the clean look of a well-done engine bay. The tidy hoses, clean paint, and classic Edelbrock valve covers make it attractive. At the heart of it, all is Ford\'s mighty 390 cubic-inch V8. It\'s built with added power from a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. There are also good supporting components, like an MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. So it\'s a strong runner, and the toploader four-speed manual transmission gives you [roper control over it all. The ride is like a classic truck because that\'s part of this F-100\'s charm. But features like newer bushings and wide BF Goodrich T/As give this added confidence on the road.
This classic truck mixes the best of classic appeal, valuable features, and upgraded power to make it fun. So you know you don\'t want to let this one slip away. Call now!
