DESCRIPTION

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a Z/28 tribute, but it has a real DZ-code 302 V8. Plus, there's a four-speed, upgraded suspension, and a terrific color combo. It all makes for a fun and impressive classic sports car.

The Hugger Orange is an iconic color that debuted for 1969, and since this color on this one was an update later in life, you continue to have a good gloss and shine for this vibrant hue. It combines with the smooth panels to make for a great way to showcase all the upgraded Z/28 badging. And you're going to really love the details here. The brightwork looks good everywhere from the wraparound bumpers to the dual exhaust tips. The blackout grille kicks off a hint of dark side style that continues in the chin spoiler, side fender trim, and rear panel. It makes for a meaner and speedy style machine. And that attitude is continued everywhere from the cowl hood to the competition-style Torq Thrust wheels.

When you open the door, you have an attractive full black interior. This has an outstanding feeling of a solid investment in the upholstery, carpeting, dash pad, headliner, and all the fundamentals. There are even nice details, like the headrests and working dome light. It's a great classic feeling everywhere... until you sit down. That's because the driver's experience is upgraded for performance with nice additions like a sports steering wheel, Hurst T-handle shifter, and auxiliary gauge trio, and an AutoMeter tach all installed with a quality feel.

Under the hood is the best of both worlds. This is a real-deal 302 cubic-inch DZ-code motor that you would get in a 1969 Chevrolet Z/28. But this tidy engine bay also reveals plenty of performance upgrades. It now has a Quick fuel four-barrel carburetor, high-rise intake, fabricated aluminum valve covers, and an HEI distributor. It makes for a strong-running powerhouse, and you take full control with the Muncie four-speed manual transmission (likely a close-ratio M21.) This feeds a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. It's currently set up with 3.08 for highway travel, but if you feel like more powerful take-offs, a 3.73 comes with the sale, too. As you look underneath, you'll also spot subframe connectors and traction bars for a more confident driver. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As, and you've got an awesome total package.

The sale comes complete with maintenance records and the owner's manual. It all makes for one of the boldest and most interesting Z/28 tributes you can get your hands on right now. So don't miss this deal, call today!!!
