This breathtaking 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe has been restored to high show quality standards throughout and is powered by a 283 Power Pack V8 factory rated with 220 horsepower. The nickname “Tri Five” refers to the second generation Chevrolet 150, 210, Bel Air and Nomad models, as well as lesser-known sub-models that were produced from 1955-1957. The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is an iconic American classic, celebrated for its distinctive tailfins, powerful 283 cubic-inch V8 engine and status as the final year of the classic “Tri-Five” generation. As the VIN Tag indicates this example was built in ST. Louis, Missouri as a 1957 Bel Air with a V8 engine. The Trim Tag also indicates it's a 1957 Bel Air 2-door hardtop with an Inca Silver exterior, black and red interior with tinted glass. This car was the product of a comprehensive restoration by renowned Snodgrass Chevy Restoration located in Melbourne, FL. From the information gathered the restoration was completed in 2018 and it was sold to a gentleman in Massachusetts in 2021 with only 53 miles on the restoration. This gentleman enjoyed the car logging 2,619 miles. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car in May of 2026 from the gentleman in Massachusetts who was the caretaker for over 5 years. July of 2026 is the first time we've listed it for sale. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of $ in service and detail work which is documented with an invoice that's included. The car currently has 2,709 miles on the odometer. This is a concours quality restoration from top to bottom!
The exterior of this 57' Chevy Bel Air is absolutely gorgeous with its stylish design and striking color combination. The body is very straight and it has excellent panel fitment throughout. The body was refinished in the desirable color of Inca Silver which dresses it to the nines. The show quality paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. During the restoration all of the tinted glass was replaced new and is crystal clear. Everything on the exterior was professionally restored or replaced such as the stainless glass trim, antenna, wiper arms, mirrors, hood rockets, headlight bezels, front bumper with bullets, door handles, body moldings, tail light bezels, rear bumper and lights. It's decorated with a gold grille, fender trim and emblems. It rolls on 14” steel wheels with deluxe spinner hub caps. MS CLASSIC CARS mounted a new set of American Classic 7.50-14 whitewall radial tires that retain the original bias-ply appearance.
The interior of this 57' Chevy Bel Air is one of the most beautifully designed interiors from the 1950's era. It was completely restored in the correct colors of Black and Red. It was outfitted with a new red headliner and sun visors. The dash, steering column, steering wheel and door panels were painted in red. The door panels and seating surfaces were upholstered in cloth and vinyl with silver piping. The entire interior presents as new including all the trim, gauges, door sills and carpeting. MS CLASSIC CARS installed a new modern classic styled electric clock and Custom Autosound stereo with AM/FM with RDS tuner, Bluetooth and speakers. MS CLASSIC CARS also installed new classic styled black rubber floor mats that are secured with Velcro backing. Everything in the interior is in working order including the deluxe heating system. The trunk compartment was painted in Inca Silver and is highly detailed throughout including the jack instructions sticker. Its home to the full size spare with matching American Classic 7.50-14 whitewall radial tire, jack tools and correct style rubber floor mat.
The engine compartment of this 57' Chevy Bel Air is highly detailed throughout with many correct parts. The firewall was refinished in Inca Silver which looks beautiful. The backside of the hood, inner fenders and radiator support was refinished in the correct shade of black. The engine compartment was decorated with factory paint assembly marks and stickers. It's also equipped with the correct style Delco battery with yellow caps. The car is powered by its original drivetrain and components. The 283 cubic-inch “Power Pack” V8 that was factory rated with 220 horsepower. The engine was completely rebuilt and runs excellent. MS CLASSIC CARS completely re-sealed the entire engine including the rear main seal and rebuilt the Carter WCFB 4-barrell carburetor. MS CLASSIC CARS also installed many new parts such as the horns, electronic “original look alike” distributor and spark plug wires. The engine breathes through correct style manifolds and a new dual stainless steel exhaust system which sounds sweet. The engine is cooled by a new correct style radiator that has the bug screen and instruction tag. The engine is coupled to the rebuilt Powerglide 2-speed transmission which shifts smoothly.
