1963 Ford Falcon A rare and highly distinctive interpretation of Ford’s iconic compact, this 1963 Falcon pairs timeless black-over-red styling with an extraordinary level of performance engineering. Reportedly built by Barillaro Speed Emporium, this Falcon has been transformed into a serious high-performance machine while retaining the character that makes these early Fords so desirable.
Under the hood is the centerpiece of the build: a legendary 427ci Ford SOHC “Cammer” V8 producing approximately 700 horsepower. The all-aluminum engine is equipped with dual Holley 600 CFM four-barrel carburetors, aluminum intake and MSD ignition, while a Be Cool aluminum radiator with twin electric fans provides reliable temperature control.
A built C4 three-speed automatic, reportedly capable of handling up to 1,000 horsepower, transfers power to a Detroit Locker rear end. The custom chassis features A-arm front suspension, four-link rear suspension, adjustable coilovers and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Tubbed rear quarters house massive Mickey Thompson Street S tires, complemented by custom Sprint aluminum wheels.
The refined red interior features bucket seats, Grant steering wheel, Hurst shifter, tilt steering, seat belts and an AM radio, creating a purposeful combination of vintage character and performance attitude. Rechromed grille, headlight and taillight bezels provide a polished finishing touch.
