Frame off restored big block with a 4-speed, a/c, power steering, power disc brakes and leather interior. California car with an exceptionally clean body.
EXTERIOR: The body and paint is exceptional on this car this car. It is absolutely straight, no signs of damage or rust. The body gaps are precise. The doors, trunk and hood click shut like a new car. The copper metallic is laid out evenly and has a polished, shiny finish. The white pearl metallic is also laid out beautifully and is smooth and glossy. Only 2 minor flaws that I could find. The exterior chrome and trim has been replaced or restored, it's all shiny and straight. It has new glass all the way around. Weather strips were replaced, door jambs are slick. The Torque Thrust wheels have some fat tires on them.
INTERIOR: It has pillow top, genuine leather seats. Both buckets are power, it has a fold down armrest in the back. The headliner and visors are new, there's a working dome light. The interior trim is all painted as slick as the car. It has billet trim across the dash and a chrome tilt column with a custom steering wheel. Down on the floor it has reproduction floor mats and a Hurst 5-speed shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: They stuffed a 454 big block motor in there with square port heads, Edelbrock intake and carburetor with an electric choke and an HEI ignition. It also has a modern heat and air conditioning system, power steering and power brakes. It is dressed up with extra chrome and a set of vintage style finned aluminum valve covers. The radiator support is custom polished stainless steel. A big aluminum radiator and overflow bottle keep it cool. There is a new set of horns and electric wipers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered including under the trunk lid. New carpet on the floor, the weather strip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the chassis for a complete restoration. The floors are clean metal all painted the color of the car with a glossy smooth finish. The chassis is semi gloss black. The front end was rebuilt including steering components, shocks, bushings, ball joints etc. The brakes were redone, it has disc in front with drilled and slotted rotors. The e-brake assembly is all hooked up. It has a polished fuel tank. The dual exhaust has big chrome tips. Looking up at the motor it is painted the color of the car and has a high torque starter. They used a Muncie close ratio 4-speed trans.
This 55 checks the boxes- big block, 4-speed, a/c, pdb, ps. Did I mention how impressed I am with the body? Watch the video I think I said it 10 times!
