Cadillac invented “Large and In Charge” and this Personal Luxury Cruiser doesn’t disappoint! El Dorado is Spanish for “The Golden One” and you will look like a million bucks in this beautiful Caddy. Arrive in style and make a bold statement. This brand of power, luxury and unique design will never be duplicated again. One ride and you will know that you are destined to be the ruler of all that surrounds you. A premium full sized luxury icon.
This is the last year of the big Cadillacs and the Eldorado was the most personal expression of success. A bold statement that commanded attention and it still does. That long sweeping hood with the Cadillac Crest hood ornament pointing the way is a thing of beauty to behold from behind the wheel. Previous owner had health issues and wasn’t driving the car, so the miles are very low at 64,671. Clean and clear title in Current Owner’s name.
Yellow, impossibly long, yet with two doors that shut like a bank vault, this clean design has perfect personal luxury proportions with the long nose and short deck. The padded vinyl top with lighted opera window adds ‘70’s class. The chrome shines brightly. White walls look sharp with factory hubcaps. That classic Cadillac crest and that iconic hood ornament signal to the world and to yourself that you have hit the big time for a night out, the club, or Sunday cruises.
All leather, chrome trim & woodgrain are all-luxury in the same color as the body. You will enjoy sending others into a great mood, too, in this ultra comfortable, entertaining and inviting environment. The cabin is spacious enough for the average successful individual to entertain 5 equally well-heeled friends and select family members. Power everything - steering, brakes, windows, seats, mirrors and locks. You also get A/C, compass, cruise and premium sound.
Plenty of Cadillac power here from this 7 Liter 425 cubic inch V8 mated to a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic and front wheel drive. Quiet, dependable, smooth acceleration, long legs for road trips and with a suspension that absorbs stress, you will arrive at any destination without a hint of travel fatigue. It rides like a Cadillac. Long range cruising and highway passing is a breeze. Garage kept and needs have been attended to with a new alternator and horn.
Clean, very straight and unrestored, original paint shines nicely. The padded vinyl top has held up well, but some wear is evident. Chrome shines brightly and the wheel covers have no road rash. Underside shows some surface rust and what's on the body is minimal. The engine runs strong and quiet, the brakes are firm and the suspension is super smooth and handles with stability. Leather and carpet show some wear. Tires have deep tread. Full size jack & spare.
These big Cadillacs from the late ‘70’s went out of style during the gas crisis years and GM scrambled to compete with the Imports that were luring away buyers. This resulted in some missteps along the way in the form of quickly produced downsized versions that just didn’t have the same quality they were known for. Fortunately Cadillac is back on top where it should be and these Luxury Yachts are a time machine back to the best 70’s era glory. Don’t miss it.
