The Chevrolet El Camino was produced for some 29 model years, spanning from 1959 all the way to 1987, in five different generations. To say this was a popular model doesn't do it justice! The 1985 model you see here is the fifth and final generation of the El Camino, and has been extensively modified and upgraded. Under the hood is a 350ci small block V-8 fitted with an aftermarket high rise aluminum intake and big four barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The excellent exhaust noise is courtesy of full length headers and true dual exhaust system. Power is routed to a five speed manual transmission. This makes this El Camino a lot of fun to drive, and the tall fifth gear means you can cruise it on the highway. The exterior of this Camino has been upgraded with a SS/Lumina front fascia and smooth composite headlamps. A black fiberglass cowl scoop has been added for that muscular look. SS badges all around let people know this isn't any old El Camino. The vinyl tonneau cover is in excellent condition, and the same can be said for the bed underneath. Inside, it's even more comfortable than you would expect. Black leather covered bucket seats flank a center console, the triple gauge pod and Grant three spoke steering wheel add a sports flair, and the tunes are courtesy of an Am/FM Cd stereo. Look up and you will see a full sun roof with removable glass panel. Wood grain accents on the door give just a little luxury flair. This El Camino is ready to go, and priced to move.
