You know how you wished you jumped all over some of those cars that are now coveted classics back when they were affordable? Well, this well-documented and exceptionally presented 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT is exactly one of those fleeting affordable opportunities.
This Caracas Red coupe really knows how to make an entrance. It's believed to the original application of this vivid color, and since this car has averaged less than 1,800 miles annually, it has a bright look worthy of the coupe's bold lines. The 3000GT is one of those great wind-cheating designs with the pop-up headlights that give you a sleek flat-front. The factory body kit had enough brake cooling ducts to make this look like a racecar, and the full-with rear spoiler appears track-ready, too. These had one of the sportiest looks of the era, and so we often seem them get enjoyed a little bit too much. That's why finding such a crisp, clean, and well respected example like this is so special.
The interior is just as fresh and preserved. It showcases a nice mix of comfort and technology. A modern classic means bucket seats with plenty of bolstering, and these are clean and complete, right down to the distinct textured inserts. This has a nice performance attitude with a large speedo and tach directly in front of you, and all the auxiliary readouts are at eye-level. You have all the best modern comfort features, too, like power windows, power locks, driver's airbag, tilt steering column, cruise control, and factory air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. This is an exceptionally stock coupe, and so it has the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo with seven-band equalizer. But there's also an aux input (a factory rarity) that allows you to plug in the most modern music players. So this coupe is not only quick, but also it's an easy place to spend some time.
The engine bay looks as clean as you would expect a cherished and maturely maintained sports car to be. This fuel-injected 24-valve 3.0-liter V6 is the envy of the new classic imported performance car scene. Mitsubishi are masters at this kind of multi-valve motor. So this has terrific low-end power, and it always feels like there's more power in reserve even at highway speeds. Plus, you have an all-around great anytime driver with the fully independent suspension, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive. It makes for a terrific driver, and so we know you won't be able to resist adding to the low odometer.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker, warranty card, owner's manual, maintenance records. This is the new class of modern classic vehicles, and so you know the desire for such a well-preserved example is only going to grow. Don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
