DESCRIPTION

1995 Chevrolet Tahoe 2-door 4x4

For consignment, a 1 owner, low mileage 1995 Chevy Tahoe that is stock and clean and ready for a new home. The truck has a title verified 31,224 actual miles! My karate instructor would say \"He who hesitates, mediates.\". Well, don\'t hesitate too long with this one or you\'ll be lost in a trance wondering what happened to that great truck that got away. We\'re proud to have this one in our Hallowed Halls and look forward to meeting the next owner.

Exterior
Just as the color palette of today will be unique in 30 years, the 90\'s had a set of interesting and commonly used colors and Teal Blue was one of them. It looks great on this truck and is enhanced by the Quicksilver detail on the lower of the truck, bisected by black body molding that serves as a ding preventer at the level where normal car doors would open. Accent colors include the chrome of the bumper and grille and black which is found on the mirrors, roof rack, chin spoiler, door handles, and window trim. The composite headlights premiered in 1990 and were stacked above the indicator lights, a look that has an enthusiastic fanbase. The 16-inch wheels are wrapped in 75-series tires and that helps with the height which will get you over small boulders, sagebrush, and the parking lot curbs at Trader Joes. The paint looks great, the panels near perfect, and the gaps are well spaced. Imperfections include some delamination near the edge of the windshield, and some minor rust on the underside of the rocker panels. There are also a few spots of hazing on the wheels clear coat, an incredibly common occurrence in GM wheels of the era.

Interior
Gray molded plastic with various panels and controls make up the hefty door panels which also include speakers, safety lights, and a storage bin. The front bucket seats are made of bulbous leather padding that could easily pass for a La-Z-Boy recliner. The driver has a near limitless selection of electric adjusters to create a bespoke perch from which to navigate the big rig. The back bench is also well padded and includes two adjustable headrests and lots of legroom. From the steering wheel forward, it\'s pretty standard GM with simple, black faced gauges displaying the important stuff in analog goodness. The gear selector is on the column but the range selector is on the floor in the center. The center dash stack contains the factory AM/FM/Cassette radio and simple heater/AC controls. Yes, it\'s time to dig out those Eddie Money and Bryan Adams cassettes from the basement, this is the moment you\'ve been saving them for! Prior to airbag regulations for passengers, they get molded cup holders, a storage bin, vents, and a glove box on their side. The low pile gray carpet is in fine condition, discolored a bit in the driver\'s footwell, and otherwise protected by fitted and flat rubber mats. The headliner and overhead console are in great shape and the way back is carpeted and clean. In fact, the entire interior is near showroom immaculate. No complaints here.

Drivetrain
The engine bay is very clean and houses the 5.7 liter 350ci V8 fueled by electronic throttle body fuel injection backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Power is transferred to the rear wheels with 3.42 gears and when needed, split to the front with the same ratio. Power disc brakes are found in the front with power drum brakes in the rear.

Undercarriage
We don\'t know if the next owner will take this off road, but they\'d likely be the first to do so. I don\'t think we\'re overstating it by saying the underside is essentially showroom condition. Just super, super clean and dry. It\'s here we find independent torsion bar suspension up front and leaf springs in the rear. The single exhaust meets a catalytic converter, then the original muffler, then finds its way out under the right rear fender.

Drive-Ability
We melted into the front buckets and headed out onto the test loop. The big V8 has plenty of power to move this big truck and the view is commanding. This truck is barely broken in and indeed, it feels like 1995 all over again. The ride is smooth as both the suspension and the 265/75R16\'s soften any imperfections in the road. The only thing we found inoperable was the passenger side mirror does not have left and right movements. For a 30 year old truck, that\'s not bad at all!

Here\'s a wonderful opportunity to get into a low mileage 2 door Tahoe which are becoming scarcer each year. This one\'s been well maintained and is as close to new condition as you\'ll find. Your wax on, wax off days are over, it\'s time to earn your black belt in classic car acquisition. And it starts with the teal Tahoe of your dreams!
