DESCRIPTION
I have owned this car for 30 years, but now its time to pass it on to a new home. Originally
built in Oshawa, Ontario, this very rare 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge, according to
Year One Inc., is one of 288 or 289 Judges built here in Canada. There was a total of 3.629
GTO Judge hardtops built in the USA, so this one is very rare indeed.
It has the 366 HP Ram Air lll 400 WS motor coupled to a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission.
A 3:55 Safe T Track rear axle completes the drive train. This Judge is an all numbers matching
car right down to the Rochester Quadra-jet, distributor, heads and 4 bolt main block. Everything
else is also original to the car except for the battery, tires and a few interior reproduction parts. The motor which was rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago runs strong and starts right up every time. As you may
know, musclecars tend to get quite hot and over-heat during the warmer months but rest assured
that this GTO will idle all day in 100 degree weather and still maintain a temperature of 165 degrees.
The in-dash temperature gauge was tested with a digital temperature laser pointed at the thermostat
housing and both readings were within 1 or 2 degrees. All other in-dash gauges work as they should.
The Muncie 4-speed shifts smoothly with no abnormal noises at all.
All documentation is included which consists of the original owners manual, Protect-O-Plate,
PHS documentation and a copy of the original window sticker. This Cardinal Red Judge would
make a great addition to any musclecar collection. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate
to ask! Thanks and have a great day!
