1962 Chevrolet C10 rat rod project....230 3 speed runs and drives....brakes are good...starts and runs fine.. bought the truck non running, it had zero brake pressure, no battery, in cab gas tank appeared to be good however it was not, winshield is there but cracked, heater core box is there but missing heater core and blower, interior air vent covers are missing, radio missing, cab floor and rockers are rusty. So now the engine starts and runs(new battery-condenser-carb cleanup). it shifts in all gears(new clutch disc). no tags on it yet so it hasn't done a rode trip.in cab gas tank has been removed hence the fuel cell sitting in the bed. replaced front brake cylinders and brake hoses and one brake spring mounting bolt(the bolt is a pain to source). all brake bleeders operate freely. got a couple turn signals to work however don't have headlights yet- haven't looked into the lights too hard yet. needs wiper blades of course.. the motor does work and arms are complete. the front coilsprings have been cut and a 4'lowering kit installed in back....that's a steel block with longer u bolts, it has gm truck ralleys 7or 8' wide rim with the tires needing replaced. put the rally center cap kit on the wheels. these 2nd gen 6 cyl setups are great for a v8 swap because they share the same motor mount locations. It is not candidate for a perfection restoration however one could patch it up and drive it, enjoy it...these old beaters are fun to tinker on.
