EXTERIOR: I think the body is amazing. I don't see any rust or damage. It's absolutely straight, the body panels fit precisely. Just let go of the doors and they click shut. Repainted it's original surf green color, it has a very smooth and glossy finish. There are no significant flaws that I have noticed. There are a few small nicks on the edge of the doors. Upfront has optional bumper guards. All of the chrome was most likely replaced years ago with reproduction, now there is pitting on some pieces. The stainless moldings look new. Windshield has been replaced, the rest of the glass is very nice. Jambs are painted very nicely, the weather strips and window seals have been replaced. It has 15 inch steel rims, about 8 inches wide painted to match the car. The poverty caps are showing some age
INTERIOR: It's as basic as it get. A rubber floormat, no carpet. The door panels don't even have armrests, only a visor for the driver. There's a block off plate for the heater controls, radio and clock. Seat upholstery and door panels are correct reproduction. Handles and cranks were replaced. The metal trim was repainted. No back seat, it has a platform with a rubber mat and black panels around the sides. The rear windows are fixed in place, no window cranks! Nice cloth headliner.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has an upgraded 350 motor but it's dressed up to look stock. It has the Chevrolet script valve covers and a factory alluminum intake with dual Carter 4 barrel carbs. It even has the correct fuel line, glass bowl and "bat wing" air cleaner. Stock exhaust manifolds. The generator was upgraded with an alternator. It also has a newer power brake booster. Optional electric wipers. It has heater delete plate on firewall. The metal surfaces are painted clean and smooth. Hinges are detailed.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean as a whistle. Dry metal was completely repainted the color of the car. It has a spare on a painted rim. Replaced weatherstrip and seat divider.
UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it looks spotless, has a new high torque starter and flywheel cover. The manual 3-speed trans has optional overdrive. In back is a 10 bolt rear end with 3.70 gears. It appears to be very solid original metal. The floors, rockers and and braces look good. The bottom of the car is undercoated. Custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel tank, sending unit and straps have been replaced. The shocks have been replaced. Some miscellaneous new bushings in the front end. In back it has helper coil springs in case your hauling a full load of moonshine.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

We sold this car a couple years ago to our truck driver. He thoroughly enjoyed it, taking it to many cruise nights and car shows. Won many awards. It was trouble free. It also was a great conversation piece, people were really intrigued by it. He only traded it in because it was time for a change. It is someone else's turn to enjoy this rare 57!
Rare utility sedan muscle car with dual quads! Rust free.
