Blue 1960 4dr Mercury Monterey

In my collection of 1960 Mercury's this car is the closest to a barn find I have. It is equipped with the little 312 engine, automatic transmission. Not equipped with power brakes or power steering. The body is in good condition as shown in the pictures but does have one trunk repair patch leading up onto the left rear wheel well. I have driven the car in one parade but have not gone through all the electrical components. Starts and runs good, and sitting on the same rubber that was on it when I got the car. The exhaust system from the cross over pipe back was replaced and I cleaned up the exhaust manifolds putting a black coating on them, and replaced the battery carrier with a good solid one I had. I was told by the Estate Representative the car was a one owner car owned by a University of Nebraska Professor.

The car could stand re upholstering including new head liner, floor covers, and new tires.
