1940 LaSalle Series 52 Convertible Coupe (torpedo body), one of only 425 built in 1940. A rare car to find and good addition to your collection. This is the last production year for LaSalle. We use the car for car shows and parades. The car had a previous restoration and is in excellent condition. The paint is almost flawless and chrome is in good condition. I recently replaced the head gaskets and water pump. The 322 cu in Cadallic engine runs perfect. This car includes the following options: chrome foglights, windshield washer, radio, and under seat heaters. The car has the first vacuum powered convertible top that was put into production and it works fine. We are downsizing and this is the last car we are selling from our collection. I have drastically reduced the price to move this one out.
