DESCRIPTION

1976 MGB Roadster - Special 50th anniversary model, with unique factory emblem on dash. Made in England, built US spec / sold new in USA. This is a fun little sports car, sporty convertible with its original 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission (stick shift), and rear wheel drive. Lots of fun to drive with the close-ratio 4 speed transmission, and RWD combo. Shifting is smooth and easy with no linkage slop, and a good clutch. My wife and I both enjoy taking it out once in a while on a weekend or nice day to cruise around or drive to the store. Car is a real head turner, gets lots of compliments and thumbs up everywhere we go. Eye catching two-tone paint, factory luggage rack (nice option to have, not all do) with a \'peanut butter\' interior. Car still has original interior in it, some wear showing on bottom of drivers seat due to age, I put new seat covers in it, and added a more modern radio (AM/FM/ CD player). Car also has power front disc brakes, mag style factory wheels with brand new tires and trim rings, 3 new wiper blades, new carpet, and new floor mats. Has original full-size spare with factory jack in the trunk. All the gauges work, including speedometer, oil gauge, gas gauge, odometer, volt meter, temp gauge, ect. All lights work, even the factory trunk light. Top in in decent shape, easy to put up real quick in case your caught in the rain. It could use some TLC if you plan on driving with top up a lot (getting snap-bottons attached/ back on). We just use it for fun on nice days, and always put the top down. We do keep it in the garage, out of the weather and winter. This is a fun to drive convertible sports car, a classic that is STILL AFFORDABLE and you can also still get whatever parts you need for them, they make anything you could ever want for it brand new pretty much, I will include catalog with car, for easy reference or in case new owner wants to order anything. This car is nearly 50 years old and mostly original.
