800 Derita Road, Ste. A
A timeless color combo, loaded with features, and show-worthy V8 headline a value-priced 1979 Chevrolet Corvette L-82.
The white paint gives a particularly clean look to this later C3. These were the chrome-free bodies where the bumpers and mirrors were color-matched, and the white seems to really emphasize this uncluttered look. Plus, with much of the trim and bumper guards now do in black, it makes an attractive contrast to the paint. That's highlighted further by the tinted windows. In fact, this car likes to emphasize its stylishness in its simplicity. You really see it in details, like the upgrade to a smooth full red taillight package.
The black leather interior coordinates very well with the exterior color theme, and so you'll love showing it off as you go cruising around with the T-tops out. The seats fold flat giving you good access to the rear section for stowing the T-tops or just tossing in a weekend's worth of luggage. This was built to be a road trip machine. It comes with great features like power locks, a tilt/telescopic steering column, provisions for power windows (passenger side needs servicing,) an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo, and R134a air conditioning (will need a recharge.) The leather on the upgraded three-spoke steering wheel feels grippy in your hands, there's a large speedo and tach directly in front of you, and the full auxiliary gauge package is central at your eye-level.
Having a 350 cubic-inch engine under the hood is always a nice sight to see. Someone made sure to make some nice investments getting it ready to show off. The etched valve covers kick off a handsome package that also includes the brackets and pulleys on the upgraded serpentine belt system. Plus, there are nice supporting components like the newer radiator w/electric fans. The V8 fires up readily and runs strong. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is the ideal mix of stout and smooth. Plus, it's a great all-around driver with the fully independent sports suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is an affordable Corvette with the right touches of something extra. So if you've been looking for a solid cruiser with some showmanship added in, this is your 'Vette. Call now!
