GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette for your consideration. The third generation of Corvette ran from 1968-1982 and received minor updates from year to year. Not many vehicles get a production run this long and it is testament to how great the third generation Corvettes are. This C3 'Vette is powered by a 5.7L V8 which sends power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission.
Externally this Corvette is finished in a distinct Silver Metallic over Charcoal Metallic paint. Complementing the paint are 15-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Once inside one will find the striking blue vinyl interior that is loaded with options. This Corvette has power windows, power locks, and an aftermarket Pioneer radio with a custom audio system. Air condition and a rear electric window defroster can also be found on this example. This 1981 Corvette comes with the original owner's manual and other documents.
1981 was a special year for the Corvette as it was actually being produced in two locations at the same time. This is because Chevrolet had just finished building its Bowling Green, Kentucky plant that has been producing Corvettes since. The specific Corvette offered here is one of those lucky 1981 Corvettes that belongs to a special group of cars that got to be produced in the new Kentucky plant during its first year. Please call or email today with any questions or for additional information.
