Sleek, custom, and absolutely unique, this 1979 Bremen Mini Mark II is a great way to grab attention and be accepted everywhere.
This is the custom that can be accepted in any crowd. After all, it's based on a VW, looks like an Excalibur, and the burgundy paint has a hint of sophistication. There are tasteful features you'd find on a much large machine, like dual-fender-mounted spare tires, lattice wheels, landau bars in the roof, and plenty of chrome on the bumpers. But beyond all this flash, you'll still see substance. It's in the way the panels line up and the quality of the door rubber. There's even features you don't get other fiberglass roadster builds, like full side curtains to properly button-up when you want.
You can remove the hardtop, and it changes this car's whole attitude. The open cockpit shows off a full roadster style with a tonneau that follows the contour of the dual bucket seats. This interior has a very vintage style that's absolutely retro-cool today. The seats are done with a two-tone red with a velour and button-top insert. This same pattern is repeated on the doors for a uniform style. There are comforts like an armrest center console, wind deflectors, and AM/FM radio w/classic 8-Track. But in a vehicle of this size, we're glad to see the majority of the attention is devoted to the driver. You get a proper wood-rimmed sports steering wheel and the dash is dominated by VDO gauges.
The engine bay is ready to show off with a tidy and correct presentation. This is the unmistakable look of a hardy and stout 1600cc Beetle powerplant. The motor fires right up, it's eager to run, and you take full control with the four-speed manual transmission. And custom feels great out on the road thanks to the VW's nimble handling and wide modern tires.
It's hard to beat a classic that commands attention like this one - especially at such an obtainable price. So don't miss out, call today!
