This 1955 Chevrolet 210 sedan is about being quite period correct with just the right amount of flair put into the mix. So when you can find a value-priced icon with a head-turning personality, you know it's worth taking a deeper look.
This is the first year for the iconic Tri-Five Chevys, so it's important to get all the details right. It was born a Shadow Gray and India Ivory two-tone, but today the level of shine that this Chevy radiates proves there was a nice investment in a professional respray. Of course, it takes more than outstanding paint to be a Chevy worthy of everyone's attention. All the brightwork looks like it has been expertly maintained to make sure that the jet-inspired hood ornament boldly leads the way, and the panels line up so well that the side trim appears uninterrupted through the rear door. The result is a true high quality appearance. After all, some classics have people looking at their reflection the chrome, but this one has then checking their reflection in the paint, too!
Inside is the factory correct blue. This has a highly authentic look, but there are a few subtle upgrades to make is a nice driver. For example, the seats are done in a classic pattern, but now they are finished in a comfortable cloth. The dash, door panels, steering wheel, and carpeting complete the sea of blue inside. It's clean and complete, right down to the details you love, like the Corvette-inspired dual cowl dash.
There's an awesomely authentic look under the hood. This is a year-correct 235 cubic-inch Blue Flame inline six. Not only does the motor look authentic, but also the so many of the cool details, like the oil filter canister, Delco generator, Rochester carb, and big AC air grabber. As you look underneath the car, you'll see it's authentic style, right down to the red oxide paint. The feeling on the road is meant to be quite authentic, too. But they also make it easy with pieces like the Powerglide automatic transmission and modern cruising tires afforded by the upgrade to those polished American Racing 15-inch wheels.
Complete with owner's manual, we use the term "authentic" quite a lot in describing this '55 Chevy and that's because it's a legend that really loves to gives you the proper vintage look and feel. There's just the right amount of showmanship and upgrades so that you can enjoy driving and parking it, too. So if you love a true classic, call today!
