DESCRIPTION
This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu has a terrific vintage style with just the right amount of subtle upgrades mixed in to make it extra fun. So it's quite a vintage package that also has some unique touches you'll love.
One of the interesting things about this coupe is how it likes to stay a premium Malibu while also giving you some upgraded Super Sport style. The vent trim hood, blackout grille, blackout rear panel, ribbed rockers, and Rally wheels with redline tires have a more aggressive tone but it keeps the Malibu badging rather than going full SS. And it's understandable why this one likes to keep its upper-class style. The Marina Blue is just as chic as it is sporty, especially when it's presented this nicely. The good body panels, flying buttress C-pillar, and excellent chrome bumpers make for a distinguished coupe.
The interior continues the touch of SS style. After all, black is great for muscle cars. But it's also easy for everyone to enjoy when it is as clean and complete as this. The darkness is attractive with the reupholstered seats, nice carpeting, a smooth dash, and a custom headliner. And this has a nice driver's style with front bucket seats, a center console in-between, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, and auxiliary readouts under the dash.
Under the hood is a period-correct 283 cubic-inch small block. It keeps a very vintage look with the dark inner walls funneling your attention to the bright orange block in the middle. This V8 inhales deeper with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power and rumble as headers feed the dual exhaust. It's a solid package where you will even spot newer supporting components like the alternator, master cylinder, and Accel HEI distributor. The motor fires up readily and runs smoothly, so it's a good companion for the road. That's why you also have nice driving features, like the three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and front discs.
This is the crisp-looking icon that's ready to hit the road today. So don't miss this deal. Call now!!!
