DESCRIPTION
1969 is an Awesome year for Chevelle styling. Muscular haunches with sleek sixties angles. It’s one of the most recognizable classics of the Golden Age. This head turning Malibu is one you can’t pass up. All original and unmodified, it looks better than it did in ‘69. Burgundy Candy, the perfect set of wheels and tires and a 396 hood are the only changes and add just the right amount of tasteful muscle with class. The way it was done back in the day.
‘69 Chevelles had their own unique look, bridging the squarer shapes of the early ones with the rounded muscle of the seventies. The combination of curves and angles is just right. This beautiful example is super clean top to bottom. It comes with the original owner’s manual and the framed original bill of sale listing the price and all of the features and options from Beaty Chevrolet in Knoxville, TN. Clean and clear title in Owner’s name.
Candy Burgundy highlights the curves and angles of this year's Chevelle perfectly giving a custom sixties vibe without going over the top. The 396 hood adds muscle. All Chevys look great with Rally Wheels, but especially so on a Chevelle with wide white-lettered Winston Winner G/T Radials making for great handling and complete the iconic look that is perfect for the era. For every Chevy guy, mid-size Muscle didn’t come in a finer package in 1969.
This Black vinyl interior looks showroom fresh with split bench seats and a beautiful dash layout. Astro Ventilation Factory A/C is a fantastic luxury and the round vents in the dash look great. The radio looks stock, but has been upgraded with a Custom system giving you the vintage look with modern features and more power. The padded dash and Malibu trim blends in perfectly with the door panels for a comfortable and inviting sixties experience.
The pristine engine compartment looks factory fresh with a super dependable Turbo-Fire 307 V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Plenty of smooth power, easy and inexpensive to maintain and the aftermarket is filled with affordable performance upgrades should you choose to go that direction. Just keep the original parts for the next guy. It’s a cruiser, handles great and with chrome tipped dual exhaust gives you the perfect V8 rumble.
No issues. The paint and body, fit and finish is excellent and the underside is very clean. Chrome is straight and shines brightly. Chrome rims show no road rash and tires have deep tread. Engine runs strong and smooth, transmission shifts positively, brakes are firm and suspension is tight. Inside and out it looks like 1969. Black interior is just as it looked right from the factory with split bench seats, handsome dash layout and just the right amount of chrome.
Chevelles will always be hot on the auction block and are heading into Masterpiece territory and pricing. The design is timeless and you’ll never see anything like them again. Now is the time to act while they are still affordable and for many the 1969 body style is their favorite. Clean, lean, muscular and classic top-of-the-heap ‘60’s muscle all the way. If you always wanted one, now is your chance. Better bid today and win it before your classmate does.
