1967 Land Rover Series II

For sale is a fully-restored, extremely desirable, and collectible 1967 Land Rover Series IIA 88 in excellent condition. Purchased in August 1988 from Vermont, the Rover was transported to Evansville, IN where it was meticulously restored from the frame up. Restoration was completed in May 1990 with genuine Land Rover parts, sourced from Rovers North and Atlantic British, with less than 10,000 miles driven since restoration. The Rover has remained in the family, been garage-kept, professionally maintained, and well loved for the last 30 years.The Rover is a 4-speed manual with a rare overdrive, along with a removable hardtop roof and a forward-folding windshield. This sale includes all items pictured, including the CB radio, fire extinguisher, jack, and towing chains/hooks (underneath drivers seat).The interior and exterior are in great condition, with only a few minor blemishes to the body and paint (see photos). Outside of the restoration, recent engine work includes the installation of a new carb, fuel tank, and fuel line. Additionally, to correct a recent brake fluid leak, a new master cylinder, front/passenger brake line and rear-wheel calipers have been installed along with a brake system flush and bleed.
