DESCRIPTION
This 1985 Chevrolet Silverado C10 is a loaded V8 pickup that keeps the right mix of classic style and the well-placed subtle upgrades. It makes for a long bed classic that's both fun and versatile.
The trim tag tells us Apple Red and Frost White is the factory-correct color combo. There was a proper respray a few years back, and today it has the right mix of a nice gloss but with a touch of aging that's great for an honest pickup. And the orange and black decal stripes separating the two-tone makes for a distinct style. There are also the right upgrades for a cool classic, like the cowl hood and bright bed rails showcasing the versatile long bed. But more than just stylish, there's quality in the fundamentals. The solid shutting doors, clean glass, bright bumpers, and good panels always make this right impression.
The burgundy interior has a tasteful style that goes well with the upscale Silverado. So this has features that you don't find in other vintage trucks, like the power windows, power locks, a velour seat, cruise control, and a tilt steering column. In fact, this one likes to keep its stock style so much that the Delco AM/FM radio is still there for display. The factory air conditioning is also present. It has been converted to R134a but will need servicing to blow cold again. There are some details that have aged a bit over the years, but this remains impressive in its level of detail, right down to the working dome light and clock.
Under the hood is a numbers-matching 305 cubic inch V8 that looks clean and correct. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a nice tune as it exhales out of the newer dual exhaust. It's unknown if the odometer represents the full actual mileage, but there is a well-maintained feel in the way it starts easily, runs smoothly, and feels nice out on the road. So this was made for driving. That's why you have power steering, power brakes with front discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the one truck that's vintage, attractive, comfortable, and useful. It's exactly what you're looking for, and it's ready right now. Call today!!!
