DESCRIPTION

This was a true barn find-it was parked in a barn for 30 years when the 2nd owner shut it off and parked it and forgot about it. I believe the odometer is correct at 35k. I found this car at the 2nd owner's estate sale where there was a collection of vintage cars for sale.

I have done a lot of cosmetic work on this car such as new paint, new carpet, upholstery including trunk, new tires and wheels, air shocks on rear, new headliner. Note the addition of the cute luggage rack on the engine compartment lid in the pictures. I consider this a moderately restored car and everything looks good. I also consider this car as a daily driver as it is not perfect but is in wonderful condition, especially considering this car is 48 years old. This car came with the factory auto stick transmission which can be a little temperamental at times. The VW shop I use says that is just the way those auto stick transmissions are.

Everyone that sees this car wants to stop and talk about it and how nice it is. It has original chrome (great condition), seat belts, engine transmission, no rust, never any damage other than ordinary scratches and dings in the original paint.

Asking $13,500. You won't find a nicer daily driving Ghia than this!
