Owned for 14 years, we have a wonderful and very sanitary example of what many believe to be Chevrolet’s finest full-sized automobile. Highly desired Power Pack optioned, is this fine car. She’s a cruising dream, bringing back the days of style, cars full of kids and streets full of soon to be classics, an era known as the glorious 50’s.



Purchased by our Owner back in 2008, she is reported to be original and correctly equipped with the Power Pack motor, larger fuel line and outboard brake lines. Grand color combo and original generator backed by the power steering pump give her kudos to stock and premium. Our Owner’s love for the ’57 started way back in his high school days, as he owned a similar car back then, stating “no problem getting a date if you drove a ’57 Bel Air, no problem at all…..”. Residing in Minden, Louisiana she comes with a clear and clean title in our Owner’s name.



Black and simply beautiful, she is an older restoration and is showing a bit of her age. Chrome and bright work absolutely set the model year 1957 and special to the Bel Air, a bunch of it, and she shows very nice, near perfect. All glass is reported as excellent. And those era-optioned hub cabs center those white-walled skins just wonderfully.



A somewhat customized interior creates a comfortable and luxurious experience while driving this beauty. A blend of cloth and vinyl, two toned in dark gray and red, she’s extremely inviting. Her original radio is operational, as are all functions of climate control and window operation. Added is the much desired Vintage Air conditioning system.



Powered by what is reported as her original 283 cid V8 motor, and as stated, factory optioned with Power Pack internals. While its history is not documented, she is noted as running extremely well. Power transfer to a newly rebuilt Powerglide 2 speed automatic transmission. All remaining running gear and suspension components are stock and functioning very well.



An exhaustive and somewhat critical review of this car was performed by an independent inspector. He was a bit tough on the lasted repaint, and noted what might be very small bubbling underneath a couple of spots in said paint. Light wear was noted in the interior. And for her mechanicals, she received a very, very clean bill of health!



Old school charm and a body that surpasses the ages, she’s fine example of the classic car model better known as the Tri-Five. Big body, big seats and big chrome, you cannot attend a general car show or cruising event without seeing examples of Chevy’s finest. What you often don’t observe are examples with stock appearance, and rarer yet are factory options still remaining on the classic auto. Bold and beautiful, timeless and revered, the ’57 Chevrolet Bel Air just doesn’t set the stage, she is the stage.
