DESCRIPTION
These days we rarely get to see the long design lines of the 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan. So we especially love to see how this one does a terrific job inside and out of giving you full nostalgic and authentic feelings. Best of all, you can get this true classic cruiser for a value price.
The full-size Chevy was an all-new design in \'59. The front end was one of the most distinctive styles to date, and this one has a bright and clean style to continue to properly lead the way. The paint was updated later in life, but they kept a very period-correct style. The turquoise holds close to the factory-correct Crown Sapphire Metallic. Now it\'s joined by a white on the upper section. We particularly like this addition because it coordinates so well with the insert in the full-length trim and whitewall tires. Plus, the glossy finish shows off some of the unique design elements. So you\'ll especially like the trunk where the dipping V channel that also forms the tailfins was one of the most daring looks ever put to sheet metal - an exclusive piece for 1959. A wraparound windshield, dual hood ornaments, fender skirts, and upgraded fiesta-style hubcaps really show off a great classic cruiser attitude.
As a full-sized sedan, there\'s plenty of room for family and friends. The two-tone turquoise upholstery with comfy cloth inserts is a custom upgrade that presents well. It\'s a detailed classic, right down to the working dome light and an AM radio that\'s still there for a display. Plus, we love the gauge package on the 1959 cars. The smooth dash forms around individual round pods for the dials, and that makes for a touch of European flair on this very American sedan.
This is a classic cruiser, and so there\'s a true classic motor in the engine bay. It\'s a correct-style 235 cubic-inch inline-six motor. While we all know there is plenty of room in the engine bay for some big V8 upgrades, it\'s also nice to appreciate what is already here. These inline powerplants have an inherent smooth nature, and this one has a clean and tidy style that proves they cared about properly maintaining it. This makes for a strong driver, and we love how this one wants you to feel the road in a vintage way. Still, this is a proper cruiser with an automatic transmission, upgraded KYB shocks, and modern touring tires behind the classic whitewall style.
When you want a big and distinct cruiser, it\'s hard to beat this Chevy... especially at this price. Call today!!!
