DESCRIPTION

1966 Poptop Westfalia Camper Bus aka so42 Own this Bus for 6 going on 7 years and its been my dream Bus, didn\'t really think I would ever sell it, but two small kids and the lack of time I have to really enjoy it I\'ve finally made a decisions to pass it on to someone else. The past year its been mostly a great weekend driver and very occasionally a daily driver Has always been very reliable, basic maintenance and tune ups, a couple new batteries , Professionally built 2180cc with a very sensible 34 pict carb, ( Carb was customized a bit to get more Performance out of it , always thought I would go a bit bigger carb but it really drives nicely with great power so I never got around to it. Freeway flyer transmission , Takes off quickly and cruising 65-70 is no problem ( im usually cruising 55-60 ) Blinkers ,horn, wipers, headlights, tail lights, dash on speedo work . Gas gauge not working or connected.. never looked into it. no radio A couple years into owning I had saved up and had Bus painted in and out back to original lotus white color code for this particular model , prior to paint it was about 70% original paint but had a few areas with rust repair/ primer and I was going for the clean in and out shiny look, so I had a shop strip it down and do the body and paint work. Exterior : clean paint , going on 5/6 years since painted , a few minor scratches, thankfully no dents , still very clean. Jalousie camper windows all work and are complete , glass is original New tires, gotta be less than or around 500 miles on them. Poptop tent has been replaced and in great shape Interior : Front bench seat, clean no rips , Clean interior panels , newer front and rear rubber floor mats. rear seat is an after market zbed pull out seat aka rock n roll Z bed , clean with no rips . Rear engine cargo area has matching cushion for those time you want to pull cargo seat out and have a bed .
