This 67 Dodge Coronet two door hardtop is original from bumper-to-bumper & still wears its original factory paint...but its been sitting outside for the past 10 years up on blocks. I know it looks fairly rough on the inside but I know it will clean up just fine with an afternoon dose of elbow grease. We did spend about 15 or 20 minutes w/a buffer on the drivers side fender, door, front part of the qtr. and the drivers side of the hood and the shine is still there. Ten years ago the car came from the original owners just a couple miles away from where I purchased it & it has been sitting in the same location since then. It has the original 318 V-8 with the automatic column shift. All glass is good except for the windshield & it has a crack along the bottom. I do have the two pieces of Chrome that are missing on the car pictures (The one on the driver's door and the one on the passenger front fender). The car has very little outside visible rust w/the worst area being the drivers side lower fender-flag area. The rockers are both picture perfect front to rear. The floorboards are really solid w/just a few very very minor areas of rust located in the bottoms of the floor stiffener impressions...I will post a few pics of that once we put the car on the lift. The trunk floor is in good shape w/only surface rust & just a couple of small quarter sized rust-throughs down in the spare tire well. The interior is intact with a split bench seat needing recovered & usable black vinyl door panels but the headliner is gone. The carpet has been replaced w/indoor/outdoor carpet at sometime & will probably disappear before we sell the Dodge. It comes with an extra grille (in very good condition) although the one in the car is really pretty nice. Both door locks work w/the original key but the trunk lock cylinder is missing but the latch assy. is still in place & a screwdriver doubles as the key. So far the drivers side windows crank up and down but will need oiled to work more freely.
We got it to the lot, cleaned up & staged w/wheels & tires. If the previous owner locates the original wheels the car may come with original steel wheels (without tires) otherwise you will have to bring your own rollers.
The engine is free and turns over easily with the starter motor via the original ignition switch & key. We will prep the engine soon & try to start the car & report back to this ad the results. The brakes will need attention for sure.
With a few days of cleaning & working on the Dodge, a person could have a nice driver that you could easily make it/finish it into what you want it to be as you drive it.
